Hengst Grand cru

Domaine Saint Remy · Alsace, France

From one of the first Alsace Grand Cru vineyards officially authorized for Pinot Noir beginning with the 2022 vintage, the Grand Cru Hengst delivers a remarkably structured yet elegant expression of the variety. Planted on steep south-facing slopes between 270 and 360 meters in altitude, the limestone marl soils bring both freshness and depth to the wine. Layers of black fruit, spice, and delicate smoky notes are framed by fine, supple tannins and a pronounced mineral length, giving this distinctive Alsatian Pinot Noir both precision and aging potential.
