Celler Pardas

Born at St. Sadurní d’Anoia, Ramon Parera and Jordi Arnan, oenologist and agronomist respectively, started the PARDAS project in 1996 with the idea of making the best wine possible at the Can Comas property.

“We are 100% viticulturists.
We only produce what we have personally grown at our vineyard. We project the wine from the land, and we only feel winemakers when we start the grape harvest. We work our vineyard carefully, in a sensible, empathic and calm way.”

The philosophy at Celler Pardas centers on allowing the vineyards to exist as a natural extension of the surrounding landscape and forests. Farmed with minimal intervention and without fertilization, the vineyards are encouraged to express the character of each vintage and terroir naturally. The soils are left unploughed to preserve biodiversity, prevent erosion, and promote healthy soil life through natural vegetal cover.

The estate focuses primarily on Xarel·lo and Malvasia de Sitges for whites, and Sumoll and Cabernet Franc for reds.
